In A Tribute to Aretha Franklin: The Queen of Soul, Aretha’s mentee Damien Sneed pays homage to the monarch herself with fresh renditions of her most cherished hits.
With a legendary career spanning generations and a multitude of genres, Aretha Franklin earned her title, “The Queen of Soul.” Musician, vocalist, and composer Damien Sneed toured along with Aretha, developing a strong mentee relationship with the soul legend. In A Tribute to Aretha Franklin: The Queen of Soul, Sneed pays homage to the monarch herself with fresh renditions of her most cherished hits including “Respect,” “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “Precious Memories,” “Think,” “Until You Come Back To Me,” “Natural Woman” and others. Backed by an accomplished cast of jazz, gospel, and soul musicians and vocalists, Sneed’s multi-media tribute is a tender and spiritual reflection upon the life of an iconic industry titan. Joining Sneed will be four-time GRAMMY® Award-winner Karen Clark Sheard.

General parking is available in the St. Augustine Garage located on the corner of Pensacola and Copeland Streets, and the Call Street Garage located on corner of Call and Macomb Streets. Accessible parking is available at the North Entrance of Ruby Diamond Concert Hall and along Convocation Way. The accessible entrance drop-off area is located at the north entrance of Ruby Diamond (the roundabout) and may be accessed by Convocation Way. Elevators are available to take patrons to the appropriate floor. Ushers will help direct patrons to the elevators.
