Beyond the Lens: Book and Film Series

We will read Brooklyn by Colm Toibin and watch the film with the same name.

Description of book: Post-World War II, Eilis can’t make a living in Ireland, so she heads for teeming New York, where she finds a love with blue-eyed Italian Tony that might be jeopardized by bad news from home.

Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Bay County Libraries.  Film will be show in the Bay County Public Library Meeting Room.  Free and open to the public.
