Jeff Klinkenberg covers some of the most interesting folks he’s interviewed and profiled in nearly a half a century of Florida travels from Key West of Pensacola. In this presentation you might hear about the Grand Dame of the Everglades, his old friend Marjory Stoneman Douglas, Dessie Prescott Smith, who taught Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings how to hunt and fish, and the north woods hermit Nathan Martin, who almost never wears shoes in the 21st century Jeff Klinkenberg is a longtime journalist at the Tampa Bay Times and in 2017, was bestowed with the Florida Folk Heritage Award.
