Grand Re-Re-Opening of CityArts Cooperative
The Gallery At CityArts Is Open To The Public Once More!!
You are invited to welcome back a creative space as it returns to Historic Downtown Panama City post Hurricane Michael. Although Hurricane Michael hit the local art community hard, CityArts Cooperative is thrilled to be back and able to support the arts and the artists of our area through our art gallery, art studios, office spaces, dance studio, classes, events, and other resources for creatives and fledgling entrepreneurs.
On April 20th, the Directors at CityArts Cooperative will host a gallery reception featuring the work of five local artists who weathered the storm: Carol Mackey Andrulevich, Tesa Burch, Heather Clements, Julie Walton and Diana Pritchard. Their work includes paintings, drawings, sculptures, mosaics, collages and handmade jewelry.
From 3-5 pm, enjoy complimentary hors d’oeuvres and beverages. Live dance performances are scheduled throughout the event and a variety of all ages art activities are planned for attendees. CityArts Directors will be on hand to guide you on tours of our studio spaces as well. This evening will be your opportunity to ask questions about a Cooperative structure. We will provide the opportunity for you to explore our interdisciplinary art studios and gain information about joining this creative endeavor we call CityArts. Please join us for an afternoon filled with multi media art, creativity and entertainment!
CityArts Cooperative is located at 318 Luverne Avenue in Downtown Panama City. This event is free and open to the public. Donations to CityArts Cooperative will be graciously accepted. Artwork, jewelry, prints and more will be available for purchase. Come out, have fun and support your local Downtown Panama City Arts District.
