Hailing from the emerald shores of Panama City, Florida, Jam Therapy has proven they’ve got what it takes to pay true homage to rock n’ roll. Since 2009 Jam Therapy has been re-creating the contemporary take on classic rock music, developing a sound that’s not only refreshing—but nostalgic at the same time. The foursome includes Garrett J. Brown (guitar & lead vocals), Alejandro Jesus Rios (lead guitar & vocals), Chase Morgan (bass & vocals), and Matt May (drums & vocals).

With influences like Black Sabbath, The Beatles, and Led Zeppelin; Jam Therapy presents a contemporary take on the heavy riffs and grooving rhythms of true rock’n’roll, successfully transporting their listeners back in time (where having vinyls wasn’t just “hip,” it was how you fed your ears.)

Over the past few years, this four-piece suit has gained a steady following while captivating audiences around the southeast. With highly energetic and equally entertaining live performances, it comes to no surprise why the group has gained such a faithful fan base. Their enthralling performances have landed Jam Therapy multiple wins at various competitions, as well as recurring appearances in some of Northwest Florida’s premiere festivals and concert series.

With a desire to musically grow and to captivate even larger audiences, the group made the move to Austin, TX in early 2015. Not surprising, Jam Therapy quickly attracted a following and booked multiple gigs during SXSW including a set at Austin Roller Rink, featured in Rolling Stone Magazine.

While this fierce group delivers an unparalleled live performance, Jam Therapy’s unique sound and high energy still resonates off-stage. Their debut self-titled album has sparked attention from around the country and has since been pushed into reproduction. The album was recorded in Nashville’s all analog studio “Welcome to 1979” and boasts eight diverse songs, sharing a common thread of catchy melodies and entrancing beats. Regardless of the medium, Jam Therapy will unequivocally and unapologetically provide an amazing musical experience for anyone caught in their wake.
