Tallahassee Civic Chorale presents "Why We Sing"

The Tallahassee Civic Chorale will present its spring concert entitled Why We Sing at 7:30 pm on Tuesday, April 26 in Turner Auditorium at Tallahassee Community College. The Chorale is directed by Dr. Leslie Heffner.

This will be the second live concert after a 2-year hiatus during the Covid pandemic. The Chorale is excited to return to the stage live again to share a beautiful selection of music dealing with peace, hope, faith, joy, love and friendship. We all need this type of inspiration after the last two challenging years!
Some of the music featured will be Light Beyond Shadow by Dan Forrest, Like A River In My Soul arranged by Tim Osiek, I Believe by Mark Miller, Glorious Peace by John Parker and Patti Drennan and the ever-popular theme song of the tv show Golden Girls, Thank You For Being A Friend, by Andrew Gold and arranged by Greg Gilpin.

Tickets can be purchased in advance through the Civic Chorale’s website and will also be available at the door.  Tickets are $9 for adults, $7 for students and seniors, and free for TCC students and staff with TCC ID.  Advanced ticket buyers also have the option of viewing a livestream of the event, which will be emailed to them separately.
